Michael Hirshfeld
Director, Business Development - Canada: Broker/Dealer
Michael is focused primarily on building and servicing relationships in Canada's Investment Advisor community.
Prior to joining Salida Capital, Michael was National Sales Manager for Goodwood Inc from 2007-2009. In his role at
Goodwood he was responsible for all sales and marketing development and initiatives in support of Goodwood's funds.
In 2003, Michael was Vice-President and Regional Sales Manager at Tricycle Asset Management. One of Canada's largest
private alternative investment companies, Michael assisted in the growth of Tricycle's assets to more
than $1 billion in less than 3 years.
Michael practiced as a corporate lawyer at Lang Michener for almost 4 years primarily in the area of company
and business law, with particular concentration in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Michael serves as co-chair of AIMA Canada Sales Practices Committee.
Michael Hammond
Business Development - Global: Institutions, Family Offices, Fund of Funds, High-Net Worth
Michael is focused primarily on building and servicing relationships globally with Institutional, Family Office, Fund of Funds,
and High-Net Worth individuals.
Prior to joining Salida Capital, Michael was the Sales and Marketing Manager for Niagara Capital Partners, an exempt market dealer
located in Toronto. While at Niagara he was responsible for sales and marketing development focused on High-Net Worth, Canadian
and European institutions and family offices. Prior to Niagara, Michael worked for Creststreet Asset Management, an energy
focused asset management firm, were he initiated all international sales and business development.
Michael graduated from Saint Francis University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in
Economics and Finance.
Dejan Knezevic
Business Development - Canada: Broker/Dealer
Dejan is focused primarily on building and servicing relationships in Canada's Investment Advisor community.
Prior to joining Salida Capital, Dejan worked in investor services at RBC-Dexia Prime Brokerage Institutional
Investor Services. His primary responsibilities were servicing over 40 Institutional clients globally on daily
trade related issues. Upon joining Salida Capital he assumed a role in the Operations and Fund Administration group.
His primary responsibilities included resolving daily trade issues, facilitating private placement deals, cash
reconciliation and daily NAV calculations.
