BTR Global Energy Fund Objective

The investment objective of the BTR Global Energy Fund is to maximize absolute returns on investments in the global energy markets while attempting to mitigate some market risk. The fund intends to accomplish this objective through superior securities selection by taking both long and short investment positions in securities of companies that are involved directly or indirectly in the exploration, development, production and distribution of oil, gas, coal, uranium, energy infrastructure and other related activities in the energy and resource sector.

The fund intends to invest in opportunities that are believed to be the best reward per unit of risk and optimize the investment and portfolio diversification by varying the allocation of long and short positions depending on the domestic and international economy and market trends and other considerations.
